Greening the Desert

This video is great. But the story it tells is even greater. This is the story of land decimated by years of abuse.  Soil desertified for thousands of years that is now producing food. Some planning  and lots of hard work have turned this piece of salty desert into an oasis.

This next video goes on to describe the project today. What happened when the funding ran out?
